Barcade

It is located at 388 Union Ave, and it’s one of the best Arcade places I would recommend if you ever found yourself in town trying the beers or spirits and checking out the best meals.

But you are not coming here just to drink; you are also coming to play the best collection of Arcade games you can imagine.

Barcade brings you a lot of retro arcade games that operate on coin-based game consoles keeping you amused for the entire time.

You can play classics like Centipede, Dig Dug, and Tapper or a mix of old school and the 90s like Star Wars, TMNT, Pinball, and Rampage. The place is clean and welcoming, with plenty of sit-down areas and friendly staff.

If you plan to visit this place, I highly recommend taking a Train from G to Metropolitan Ave and walking for a few minutes. If you are not a crowd person, the best days are Monday to Thursday.

If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, don’t be surprised to find the place so packed.

2. Jackbar

Jackbar offers various pinball machine games, around 11. It is a pretty cool place that you can visit with your significant other or even friends, especially if you are a pinball game lover, as the place is half pinball arcade and half bar.

If you visit this place on a Thursday night, you can get to participate in Pinball leagues and tournaments.

My favorite experience was the tap beers, canned/bottle beers, shots, and beverages.

Jackbar is always open from 1 pm till 4 am every day, even during weekends. The music is nice to vibe to, and the table games such as dice, UNO, connect four, and cheese are a plus.

There are also other pinball games if you’re into table games.

I love bars with games. If you are looking for somewhere to grab a drink, eat, play a game or watch a movie, I recommend the Whisky Annex in Brooklyn.

The whiskey Brooklyn offers dine-in services, takeaways, and deliveries.

It has a lively and fun atmosphere with a good variety of drinks, including whiskey, scotch, wine, and spirits.

Are you looking for a place where you can play free Arcade games? Well, look no more as Wonderville has got you sorted.

They had really good cocktails and, on top of that – FREE indie arcade games and board games!

Wonderville is not that spacious compared to other Arcade places – the music place and Arcade are all in one section. But that shouldn’t piss you off as it comes with its fun giving you an immersive experience.

They also seem pretty organized and are good about COVID precautions. For example, they check your vaccine cards at the entrance.

The drinks are fairly priced, and they also have spacious outdoor seating where you can chill and relax. They accept credit cards and are open from Monday to Sunday.

5. The Owl Farm

Everything around this place looks and sounds romantic. The wall is filled with Owl mural sketches with Edison bulbs hanging at strategic points.

The place is a little dark, and the lit candles on the tables give the place a romantic feel acting as a personal light when you are looking through the menu.

They have a good collection of pinball machines at the back, and I would highly recommend the Guardians of the galaxy machine or Bride of Pinbot machine.

Even though my friends were more intrigued by the Twilight Zone machine, I found the others much easier to play and had exciting challenges.

6. Maracuja

Maracuja

Maracuja is one of the most fabulous backyards in Brooklyn. Located near Bedford Avenue subway station and opens from 5 pm to 4 am on weekdays and 2 pm – 4 am on weekends.

The place is cozy with a chill garden, a pool table, and Buckhunter in the back.

I can say that coming to Maracuja will be so much fun as you will not only enjoy the available arcade games and the jukebox cool music in the background, but you will also have amazing drinks and food.

It offers cheap drinks such as cold beer, margaritas, tequila, and cocktails. Some of the foods available include Yuca fries with melted cheese,  chicken, oysters, and paella.

Midway bar is located on the south side of Roebling St and Havemeyer St Williamsburg. It offers lots of arcade games such as skeeball, Pac-man, and pinball, which are among my favorites.

There is also a pool table and large leather banquettes in the back and pinball near the front, and air hockey at the back.

The bar area has swizzle bar stools and five video game consoles. Upstairs lives a billiards table and red leather banquettes with a jukebox. While there, my friends and I enjoyed the amazing music, Rock and roll.

After playing your arcade games to your satisfaction, you can grab some food and a few drinks as they have a good selection of beer and shots.

The drinks are relatively cheap to buy but do not forget to bring cash as they do not accept credit cards.

The Levee

The Levee is another fun place to hang out with your friends.

The place is always open from 12 pm to 4 am every day, and it is a popular place for Jukebox and big game buck hunter HD.

When you come to the Levee, you are not only coming there to enjoy the jukebox. The place also offers great drink prices, tequila, whisky, and great beer.

They also make great cheese balls and hot dogs. Additionally, you will be greatly entertained by good music.

The Commodore is located in Williamsburg, about 1.8 miles from the Tenement Museum, and I found it an enjoyable place with plenty of old arcade games.

The Arcade is open from 4 pm to 4 am on weekdays and from 11 am to 4 am during weekends and offers free Pinball games as their machine is set to free play.

I enjoyed the chicken sandwich, fried chicken with biscuits, bacon and fried chips, fish and grits which are reasonably priced and I can say they offer the best-fried chicken.

After playing lots of arcade games in commodore, you can as well enjoy cocktails, cold beer, and other cold drinks.

10. George and Jack’s Tap Room

George and Jacks Tap Room

What was supposed to be a quick drink turned into over an hour of the pool, pinball games, a Galaga/Pack, and Mac games as the place offers plenty of arcade games.

Apart from the arcade games, George and Jack’s also offer an extensive regional craft beer menu. I would recommend the beers on tap and the cocktails as both are cheap to acquire.

They also have a large selection of liquor to choose from. It is also a dog-friendly zone. Therefore, don’t hesitate to tag your dog along.

The place is open from 12:00 PM to 4:00 AM every day. I would recommend you visit there during weekdays if you want to have fun playing games as during weekends it’s always too busy.

You and your friends should probably visit the Ontario bar as it is another fantastic place located on the north side of Union Ave and Lorimer St Williamsburg.

Ontario is an excellent place with a Canadian theme that I can recommend you to visit any day you find yourself around the town because it is always open from 5 pm to 4 am every day.

The place has many arcade games such as pinball machines, buck hunter, video games, a pool, and an air hockey table in the back.

I can say that the place is quite affordable as the drinks are fairly priced. They also offer some food such as ketchup chips.

What I love most about the place is that any time you visit and purchase a drink, you get FREE PIZZA. The drinks are cheap.

If you are a Karaoke lover, then be sure to visit there on Fridays, and it will be pretty fun with the Big Buck Hunter Pro and a pool table.

Sunshine Laundromat is a fun location to take your friends and family. It has a large number of pinball machines.

There may not appear to be many but there is a door disguised as a washer, and if you pull it, you will be taken to a bar with pinball machines.

The place is known to be the best pinball spot in New York and also offers board games. It is open from 7 am to 2 pm on weekdays, 7 am to 4 pm on Friday and Saturday but 8 am to 2 am on Sundays.

The Turkeys Nest

Turkey’s Nest Tavern is another best arcade place that you can visit in Brooklyn.

The Arcade is open at 10:00 am daily, with earlier hours even on weekends, and has friendly and welcoming staff.

If you want to get drunk for cheap, this is a place to go. Turkey’s Nest Tavern is located on the southern edge of McCarren Park, one of the best parks in Brooklyn.

If you want a place to chill out and have fun with your friends, I recommend Turkey’s Nest tavern as it is a fun place to be with your group of friends and grab a few drinks.

This dive bar specializes in margaritas, and you can enjoy them with thrilling jukebox music, pool tables, and a few TVs playing sports.

This charming spot with posters everywhere offers beer, liquor, and frozen margaritas that come in styrofoam cups. Remember to carry some cash with you when you visit as they don’t take credit cards.
