Best Ice Skating Rink In Brooklyn, NY, To Enjoy Your  Holiday

Ice skating in Brooklyn is a special experience. There’s nothing else in the world like it. And this type of ice differs from the hockey rinks and frozen ponds you might be accustomed to.

The ice at Dock Street is different because of its unique shape, heritage, and location. It provides a breathtaking vista that you won’t find during your next visit to Rockefeller Center or even television!

Picking a suitable ice skating rink can be a difficult task. This is particularly true in Brooklyn since it’s hard to know just where to look for information about local rinks. You may or may not know about quite a few rinks around.

There are even new rinks opening up all the time. This makes it all the more important to research local rinks and draw as much information from them as possible.

When you visit the LeFrak Center at Lakeside in Brooklyn, you’ll find a whole world of fun. Not only can you ice skate, but there’s also a roller rink, a carousel, and bocce ball courts. There’s something for everyone!

The building is open year-round, and on snowy days, the skating rink is covered with a transparent roof that lets you feel like you’re outside but gives you the protection from the elements that we all so crave.

This way, even if it’s snowing or raining cats and dogs, you can still get out there for some fun!

You can rent skates on-site, but  I encourage you to bring them along if you have your pair. Just make sure they’re in good condition—I want you to have a safe and enjoyable time!

Your ticket includes admission to the rink and access to the whole complex. After you’ve had your fill of skating, you can work up an appetite playing bocce ball or going for a whirl on their lovely carousel.

Or maybe take a stroll through the beautiful rose garden—it’s always in bloom! There are always events.

I know ice skating can be intimidating. But at Abe Stark Sports Center, you don’t have to be a star on the ice to feel like one.

As soon as you step out on the rink, it’ll be easy to forget that you’re still in Brooklyn, NY, not some magical winter wonderland where even your tightest turns feel like gliding. You’ll be too busy doing what you do best: ice skating.

Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just looking for an excuse to get out of the house and try something new, the ice rink is a place where anyone can feel comfortable, whether they’re showing off their skills or just trying them out for the first time.

And with $10 admission fees and skate rentals for only $5, it’s also a great way to take advantage of some of the best deals around town.

Whether you’re a pro or a total newbie, they have the goods to help you enjoy your experience. They’ve got everything you need to make this winter one you’ll never forget, from skate rentals to lessons.

Here’s what they offer:

-Budding skaters can sign up for their weekly lessons, which will teach you all the basics of gliding around the rink with confidence, style, and grace.

-If you’ve been skating forever and want to get out of your house and perfect your skills in a fun environment, their regular, open skate hours are just what you need. Don’t worry—you don’t have to be an expert on the ice.

Their ice is friendly to all levels, so whether you’re an adult who hasn’t skated since childhood or someone who seriously loves to spin around like a figure skater on speed, they have enough room for everyone.

If you love skating in the winter and fantasize about being a real hockey player, I’ve got great news: Aviator Sports and Events Center got you covered.

You can take your pick of 3 different sessions a day to skate. The first session starts at 10:00 am and ends at 11:30 am. The second session begins at noon and ends at 1:30 pm. The last session starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00 pm.

Skates are available for rent, so don’t worry if you don’t have your own pair (or if your skates are ancient). If you’re an adult, it’s $6 to rent skates during the day or $8 at night. Kids get a good deal—only $4 during the day or $6 at night.

Plus, if you’re an adult who wants to learn how to skate (or just wants some extra help on the ice), you can sign up for the beginner’s class that runs from 2:00 pm until 3:30 pm!
