New York is famous for its pizza, and Roberta’s Pizzeria is a classic example of why.
One of the best places to find Brooklyn Style Pizza, Roberta’s is a New American Pizzaria that was established in January 2008 by Chris Parrachini and Brandon Hoy.
The restaurant is located in Brooklyn, on the western end of Long Island. It is famous for its diverse menu with options for vegetarians, vegans, and celiacs, as well as its outdoor dining area where you can purchase a beer and enjoy some live music.
Its flavorsome wood-fired pizzas are sure to leave a lasting memory with you and your friends!
If you’re planning a party or large get-together, be sure to reserve Roberta’s outdoor area as it is the perfect spot.
However, if you are just grabbing some lunch with a friend, one rare and beneficial aspect of Robertas is you don’t need a reservation, you can just walk in!
This is something not found often in most of Brooklyn’s hottest spots. It’s no surprise that Robertas is ranked in the top 5 pizzeria restaurants in America and has earned two Michelin Stars!
Food
Roberta’s menu contains all the classics you would expect from a pizzeria, as well as some unusual but tempting dishes! One pizza you must try is the Bee Sting, it’s bursting with flavor! Sweet, smokey, salty, and spicy all in one.
What makes this pizza unique is the addition of honey to mozzarella, tomato, chili, basil, and soppressata, which some may be skeptical about, but don’t knock it until you try it! At only $22, you must add this to your order!
If this pizza doesn’t appeal to you, however, check out the rest of their pizzas here. They have a wide variety of pizzas for all dietary requirements.
If you’re not in the mood for pizza, how about something from their pasta menu? For vegetarians, I recommend their mouth-watering Torchietti with Spring Vegetables.
This dish contains English peas, fava beans, green garlic, and Piave Vecchio cheese. This satiating dish is only $20 and is sure to leave you satisfied!
However, if you are a meat lover, try the Chitarra con Ramps which contains anchovy, horseradish, and herbs.

For dessert, you can opt for something familiar such as tiramisu or sticky toffee pudding, or if you’re feeling a bit adventurous, try the Purple Sweet Potato Pie!
This dish caught my attention for its uniqueness, I’ve never seen something like it! With root beer meringue, coconut milk jam, and pineapple sorbet, this will be the dessert you will forever associate New York with!
They also offer blackcurrant sorbet for the vegans!
Roberta’s Tiki Bar
Craving an ice-cold cocktail outside? Roberta’s has you covered! Enjoy the sun with a drink in hand while listening to some live music at the Tiki Bar.
Roberta’s offers frozen drinks such as the Scooby Snack (coconut rum, melon, banana, and pineapple) and The Wedge (mezcal, boozy fruit punch, orange, and tropical red bull), but if you prefer something a little less fruit, you can order draft beer, bottled beer, or whatever your preferred wine is.
The Tiki Bar is open Wednesday – Sunday, 5 pm – 11 pm.
Group Dining
Planning a group lunch or dinner? Roberta’s has an incredible menu for your occasion! Their group lunch menu is $55 (or $85 with beer and wine) per person and requires a party of 10 – 35 people.
This price includes a choice of either a Salumi and Cheese, the Little Gem Salad, or Marinated Cucumbers as well as three pizzas for your table. This is sure to keep everybody happy!!
The group dinner cost 85$ per person (again, must be a party of 10-35 people) and this menu offers the same options as lunch, as well as drinks and some optional add-ons.
When visiting Robertas you are guaranteed satisfaction, so this price is definitely worth every penny!
Takeaway/ Delivery
Perhaps you want to enjoy Roberta’s in the comfort of your own home? Well, this is not a problem! You can call your order in and pick it up with no extra charge, or you can get home delivery for $2, just place your order online here.
However, if like me you do not live in the New York area, Robertas is now shipping their frozen pizza nationwide with GoldBelly! Their wood-fired frozen pizza tastes as good as fresh.
They are made with the same, fresh ingredients, just designed for those who do not have the luxury of visiting their restaurant. You can place your order here.
Roberta’s has also expanded and opened restaurants in Los Angeles and Domino, Brooklyn. Hopefully, in the future, they open more restaurants across America so everyone can get a taste of their homemade wood-fired deliciousness!
