Lucy’s Vietnamese has three stores in Bushwick, Williamsburg, and Bedford. Even though the restaurant in Brooklyn is not a big hit yet, they have never compromised over their menu.

They have these different varieties of Pho; Tofu Pho, vegan ginger chicken pho, smoked brisket pho, and lemongrass chicken pho. You can literally try a new type of Pho every day.

My favorite here was the smoked brisket pho. This dish is prepared just the way the Vietnamese do. It is served with 14 hours of smoked brisket along with a plethora of spices and vegies you can never have anywhere else.

While staying in Brooklyn, I tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. Still, none of them was able to offer excellent outdoor seating except Money Cat.

They have this fantastic location in the heart of Bushwick and are available for dine-in and takeaway.

This is the perfect spot if you have been a sucker for traditional American and Vietnamese flavors. The place has this hip and chic touch to it that makes it stand among other Vietnamese restaurants.

They have a lot of dishes, including Pho, Vermicelli bowls, Banh mi, and other Vietnamese cookeries.

Their pork spring rolls are scrumptious and trust me, you can’t resist without munching on them. They are served with a side of lettuce, mint, and vegan fish sauce; it sounds mouthwatering, right?!

Whether you want to dine in or want to take away your favorite food to your cozy place, Falansi can arrange it for you.

They also have outdoor seating based in a beautiful garden that is warm enough to deliver the best comfort.

Their specialty surrounds preparing some of the best animal butcheries. Falansai is a master at preparing smoked and grilled meats, house-made charcuterie, and fresh-cured sausages; they have numerous ways to make the best meat possible.

Nhà Mình specializes in preparing traditional Vietnamese-style cuisine. Each of the dishes has a ting of Vietnam.

The specialty of this restaurant is that they offer delicious Vietnamese breakfasts throughout the whole day.

And if you are looking for a gluten-free Banh Xeo, then I have some good news for you. Nhà Mình has a perfect combination of Vietnamese crepe made up of rice flour and coconut milk.

The filling is as delicious as it sounds, consisting of house-cured pork belly and organic eggs wrapped in lettuce and herbs. All these condiments, that too free of gluten.

Their menu also offers a variety of pastries, including vegan and non-vegan ones.

They have a different array of Vietnamese cuisines at lunch, like shredded chicken, beef and tofu rice and noodle dishes, minced pork, bánh mì, and shredded chicken.

They have also got your back with fried chicken wings and crispy spring rolls for the appetizers part.

I went for dinner and had a very warm welcome from the staff there. The dinner menu had ngheu hap xa, banh xeo, and chao so diep.

I ordered the pork chops and chicken along with some rice. Literally, the meat was so tender and seemed just magical.

Stop by Banh Mi Zon if you are looking for a freshly made Banh Mi. This is one of the restaurants that gave me the taste of Vietnam while staying in Brooklyn.

Their Banh Mi sandwich is one of their bestsellers, and it can be described using two words; delicious and crispy.

With the first bite, I discovered a medley of savory, tart, sweet, and tangy flavors all together in one bite.

One thing that I more than loved about them is the freshness of the ingredients they use. Gosh, I still remember the sight and taste of those fresh buns.

The vegetables used in their dishes are sauteed with a blend of Vietnamese spices. A must-try Vietnamese dish here is the summer rolls of Tiger shrimp. ‎

Located in Greenpoint Brooklyn is a traditional Vietnamese restaurant called Đi ăn Đi. The restaurant might not have that high-end look; however, their food is just way too scrumptious.

If you have been thinking of trying Vietnamese food with a modern touch, then Đi ăn Đi will not disappoint you. They use these aromatic Vietnamese spices along with a contemporary touch.

I found the décor very appealing, and the setting was quite quiet-peaceful as well. I am in love with their bún thịt nướng (lemongrass pork bowl). It was delicious, and the beef had this sweet and savory flavor.

This restaurant has the bánh tráng trộn (rice paper salad) that will never disappoint you. It is prepared with traditional methods and hits all the taste buds just the right way.

Plus, if you visit here during a lunar year, don’t forget to try out their bánh chưng (Chung cake). Overall if you have been looking for a high-end Vietnamese restaurant, you must definitely give this one a try.

Another Vietnamese restaurant I came across is the Bun-Ker. The place is just perfect for trying out Vietnamese street food. The delicacies here are made of authentic ingredients, and all of the vegetables and meat used are organic.

I loved how the place had this touch of art and music. The food was good, and their grilled pork chops and crispy crepe are among the most popular dishes.

Besides these, they also serve southeast Asian style grilled pork chops and crepes with shrimp, bacon, and bean sprouts.

The service is best and friendly, and despite the small space, the cleanliness is well maintained. The restaurant is often crowded because of the high demand for Vietnamese dishes. It is better to have a reservation beforehand visiting here.

Bricolage is not an ordinary restaurant that you visit. One thing that is to remember about this Vietnamese restaurant is the excellent patio systems. The restaurant has this beautiful patio with plants that is just perfect for an Instagram selfie.

Coming towards the food now has this modern touch with a blend of Vietnamese spices. The shrimp clay pot is just incredible, and how can I forget about the cocktails. Simply delightful!
