3. Berry Park
Location:4 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Phone number:+1 718-782-2829
Berry Park is the perfect place to take your friends for happy hour, a laid-back date night, or just to hang out with a laid-back rooftop bar and kicked-up comfort food.
The interior at Berry Park is rustic and fun, with exposed brick walls, chandeliers made of old beer bottles, and long wooden tables where you can sit with your buddies.
The menu is full of classic pub fare with a twist—think fish and chips, but with halibut; chicken wings with buffalo sauce, but also with chipotle; and burgers that range from the classic “Good Ol’ Burger” to the “Bacon Cheeseburger,” which comes topped with bacon jam. The best part? Most entrees are under $15!
Their selection of draft beers is always fresh, with new brews coming in.
If you’re looking for something more than a beer (or if you’re not in the mood for one), try one of their creative cocktails like the “Moonshine Sunday” (moonshine, OJ, sour mix) or “The Paddy Wagon” (Jameson whiskey blended with ginger beer).
The bar often hosts live music nights—a great way to unwind.
Berry Park is a favorite of tourists and locals in Brooklyn’s hip Williamsburg neighborhood. Come for drinks, stay for the view!
This rooftop bar and restaurant have spectacular views of Manhattan. Enjoy a cocktail while watching the sunset over this iconic NYC skyline.
Berry Park is an excellent choice for all ages, offering a menu that includes German food as well as American fare.
The beer selection is extensive and includes local options as well as German favorites like Spaten and Warsteiner Dunkel.
Plenty of TVs make it easy to watch your favorite sports teams, while the outdoor patio provides plenty of space to hang with friends or take in the city views.

There’s ample seating in the form of cozy booths and communal tables, perfect for chatting with friends in between sips. The bar itself is huge and never too crowded, so you don’t have to worry about finding a spot to sit down.
This place is great for happy hour after work or a pint after dinner. Their food menu is full of delicious small plates that pair perfectly with their selection of craft beers from around the country—all on tap!
My favorite is their cheese plate, which always comes with delicious meats and fruit that go great with their beer offerings.
I also highly recommend trying their crispy fried veggie bites with spicy mayo—they’re heaven on a plate.

7. Rooftop Reds
Location: Flushing Ave Building 275, Brooklyn, NY 11201
Phone number:+1 917-434-1288
Tucked away in a dusty corner of Brooklyn, Rooftop Reds is the world’s first rooftop vineyard.
Boasting a 360-degree view of Manhattan and the surrounding boroughs, it’s also home to an expansive garden, picnic tables, and lots of adorable bunnies (seriously).
When you first pass through the gates, you’re greeted by a woman who will ask you if you’re going to be drinking; if so, she’ll give you a wristband and point you toward the bar. You can also purchase your bottle or two to take with you.
I recommend grabbing a glass (or two) of wine before venturing out into the rest of the park. The garden is lush and green, well-maintained, and beautifully plated. If you’re feeling ambitious, even wine bottles are hanging from trees!
As the name suggests, this is a great place to grab a drink while enjoying an amazing view of New York City—but it’s so much more than that.
Rooftop Reds offers something for everyone with its expansive garden, beautiful picnic tables, and charming bunnies hopping around everywhere. It’s also an excellent spot to host any event—from weddings to corporate.
You’d never expect to find a vineyard in Brooklyn, but that’s exactly what Rooftop Reds is.
The staff is friendly and energetic, and the space is open and inviting. The walls are lined with large windows that provide views over the East River and Manhattan, making it feel like you’re on top of the world.
The wine is delicious and comes in various styles, including sparkling wine! If you visit during the warmer months, they have an outdoor area with large tables where they serve their food.
The food is incredible and includes everything from burgers to oysters. The location is perfect for a date or group outing!
8. The Water Tower Bar

Phone number:+1 718-362-8100
The Water Tower Bar is a must-visit for anyone near Brooklyn, New York. It’s a classy place, with great drinks and delicious food.
The bar itself is in a former water tower: you can imagine that the interior design is pretty cool. The space isn’t huge, but it’s just the right size, and there’s plenty of seating.
There are some couches and high-top tables in the center, with booths lining the walls. The lighting is low, making for a great date spot or gathering place with friends.
The food offerings are small plates, which means you can try lots of things because nothing is too heavy or filling.
Their specialties are their meats and cheeses, which they source locally and rotate seasonally. Their drinks menu has an extensive wine and beer list and unique cocktails made with their spirits (they also distill their whiskey).
When you walk into The Water Tower Bar, you get an immediate sense of a few things:
- It’s a place where people come to socialize.

- This is a space that respects its patrons and their space.
Location:314 Scholes St, Brooklyn, NY 11206, United States
Phone number:+1 347-566-3662
It’s all about the rooftop patio. This bar’s drinks are fine, in a pretty cool part of Brooklyn. But you’re going because of the view.
You can look out over the Manhattan skyline, but you can also see the iconic Williamsburg Bridge, which is a pretty incredible sight when the lights are on at night.
Lohi is a rooftop bar in Brooklyn, New York. It’s located on the roof of one of the city’s tallest skyscrapers, making it a great spot to grab a drink and take in the view.
The bar has a rustic feel, with wooden tables and chairs, exposed brick walls, and black leather couches. There is also an outdoor area where patrons can sit at tables or lounge chairs.
In addition to cocktails, Lohi offers an array of appetizers that are meant for sharing. Try their “chips and dip” platter (a mix of fried vegetables served with ranch dressing) or the smoked salmon deviled eggs (topped with capers).
Try their chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie bites (served warm) for something sweet)!
10. The Roof
Location:214 3rd St, Brooklyn, NY 11215, United States
Phone number:+1 718-907-3622
“The Roof is an amazing rooftop bar in Brooklyn with a view of the city. It’s a great place to hang out with friends and get a good drink. It was nice being up so high and looking at everything, but I think the drinks were my favorite part.
I had the Moscow Mule, and it was delicious! The food was also pretty good, but you have to order it ahead of time because they don’t have their kitchen set up on the roof yet. Overall, I would definitely recommend going if you’re in town.”
11. Night of Joy
Location:667 Lorimer St, Brooklyn, NY 11211, United States
Phone number:(718) 388-8693

The roof is outfitted with picnic tables and at least one hammock. There’s also a stage and dance floor with live music nightly.
They offer a full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. They specialize in craft beers, serving classic cocktails like margaritas and whiskey sours.
The food menu includes classics like burgers, chicken tenders, and nachos. There are also some unique options like the Nutella Burger, which has two patties topped with cheese and Nutella.
It is the kind of place that makes you feel like it’s your home away from home. This bar and restaurant have a super low-key vibe, with exposed brick walls and an eclectic mix of seating options, including mismatched chairs, sofas, and benches.
The food offerings are pretty inventive for a bar, but with a chef who has experience at some of New York’s most highly-rated restaurants, this is no surprise!
The menu changes often—you can see the current list of offerings on the website, but there are always vegetarian options alongside meat and seafood dishes.
If you’re going to Night of Joy just for drinks, they have an extensive beer menu (craft brews and more) and a great selection of mixed drinks featuring unique ingredients.
There are also a few cocktails that change every week based on what’s in season or whatever the bartenders feel like making!
