1. Night of Joy.
667 Lorimer St, Brooklyn, NY 11211.
Contacts: (718) 388-8693,
Night of joy is one of the best rooftop bars in Williamsburg. It’s open daily from 5 pm to 4 am.
The bar is incredibly lively, with nicely decorated candles on each table, dim lights, and a large number of individuals there. I can say that their interior designer was great.
The rooftop is large and spacious with beautiful decorations as it is carpeted in greenery. The bar serves excellent cocktails, beers, and margaritas at very reasonable prices.
Kindly note that the rooftop bar is a cash-only spot, so do not forget your wallet at home. They don’t accept credit cards. However, if you are a full bar person, I’d recommend you stay downstairs to enjoy the thrill.
If you don’t like crowds, though, I recommend going there on weekdays because it is always calm. On weekends, the Night of Joy is always packed, and you may find yourself without a seat or a table.
2. Westlight.
111 N 12th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
Phone: (718) 307-7100.
If you are looking for a great rooftop and amazing outdoor bar to hang out with your friends the Westlight rooftop bar is the best spot for you.
Westlight bar is on the William Vale hotels with unparalleled views of the majority of Manhattan’s skyline. The bar is open from 5 pm to 12 am on weekdays and from 1 pm to 12 am on Saturday and Sunday.
I can assure you that this location is a must-visit for people looking for a romantic evening out since it offers a fantastic vibe and stunning decor. Just remember to make your bookings ahead of time.
Great drinks are available at the bar, including top-notch cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
When you go to Westlight, you aren’t just looking for a good hang-out time. The restaurant also serves delicious dishes from throughout the world. Among the foods provided are chicken, fries, octopus, and burgers, to name a few.
Although the costs might be relatively high compared to other rooftop bars, Westlight is an extremely fantastic location.
3. LoHi
314 Scholes St, Brooklyn, NY 11206.
Phone: (347) 566-3662.
LoHi is another amazing rooftop bar that you need to visit if you haven’t already. I knew this spot during a birthday celebration of my colleague at work. It has plenty of indoor and outdoor seats.
I went there thinking I’d only stay a few minutes to wish my colleague her birthday wishes, only to spend the entire night drinking their amazing collection of beers, wines, and cocktails.
The bar provides a variety of services, including events, group reservations, and space rental. My colleague had made a group reservation for about 15 individuals, which worked out perfectly because we were able to find everything we needed.
Apart from their amazing drinks, the food selection was also fantastic. I personally loved their burgers and fried chicken sandwich. I must admit that the LoHi rooftop bar is thrilling but definitely not cheap.
4. Bia
67 S 6th St, Brooklyn, NY 11211.
Phone: (718) 388-0908.
Bia is a cozy Vietnamese rooftop bar with a wonderfully peaceful environment and feels that you should check out.
It’s located on the south of Nitehawk Cinema on Williamsburg Bridge. It’s a great spot for a date night with your significant other.
The spot is open from Tuesday to Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm and from noon to 10 pm on weekends. It offers a huge selection of drinks, including cocktails, beer on tap, and beverages that are fairly priced.
Apart from the exquisite drinks, the bar also offers a variety of great cuisines, including noodles, Asian chicken curry, Salads, Seafood, Sandwiches, soup, pho, and steak. The food tastes amazing and is affordable to acquire.
However, I’d advise that you make your orders early to get the food on time.
5. Llama Inn El Techo.
50 Withers St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Contact: (718) 387-3434
El Techo is a fantastic rooftop bar with an excellent ambiance, drinks, and meals. It’s perched atop Williamsburg’s Peruvian food haven.
If you want Peruvian bites, I propose paying a visit to this fantastic establishment, which not only serves unique cocktails but also delicious Peruvian bites.
When I first walked inside the bar, I was captivated by the wonderful vibe, which was open and airy with modern decor and a huge open space. Everything about the bar was fantastic, from the atmosphere to the food, drinks, and service.
They also offer group or couple reservations, making it a great spot to hang out with your friends or go on dates.
El Techo has an open-air lounge and one rooftop Table. The table can accommodate up to 12 people, and the lounge spaces can be used independently or together to accommodate up to 60 people.
The bar offers an excellent and massive selection of drinks such as Llama del Rey cocktails, various beers, and wines that taste great.
They serve delicious meals such as French fries, fried eggs, specially prepared salads, shrimp, steak, chicken, sandwiches, and mushrooms, among other things. If you’re a vegetarian, don’t worry; they have vegan options on the menu as well.
I urge that you check your wallet before visiting this beautiful venue because their meals and drinks are relatively pricey but of excellent quality.
6. The Water Tower.
96 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
Contacts: (718) 362-8100.
Another wonderful rooftop bar for a date or some quality time with your lover is The Water Tower. It’s on the top floor of the Williamsburg Hotel. It is open from 10 pm until 4 am from Wednesday to Saturday.
While sipping inventive drinks, take in the view of the cool pool, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Manhattan skyline.
It has lovely views and artwork on the walls. When I visited there at night, everything looked incredible, and I couldn’t stop thinking about how fantastic the rooftop bar could be during the day.
This location is ideal for special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or even engagement parties, in my opinion.
The bar boasts high ceilings and plenty of seating, including couches and bar tables. However, because it’s a wonderful site and people enjoy hip places, it can become a little crowded, especially given its size.
Their drink menu is also excellent, delicious, but relatively pricey. As you have good time booze, you also get to be entertained with great music with an excellent DJ by the poolside.
7. Juliette
135 N 5th St, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
Contacts: (718) 388-9222.
While hunting for a relaxing area with my nephew one evening, I came across this lovely spot. We didn’t want to spend time there, so we decided to just check it out and leave, but before we realized it, we had spent more than 5 hours there.
Juliette is a french restaurant and bar conveniently located off Bedford Avenue. It’s both a chill spot and event friendly.
The vast rooftop space has a complete bar and a rooftop chill zone. It has a laid-back vibe, with cute modern decor adorning the walls and plenty of plants and natural light streaming in from the roof.
They also provide an incredible selection of moderately priced and strong drinks, such as beers, cocktails, and margaritas.
The bar also has excellent cuisine, including burgers, fries, salads, and seafood, such as octopus. The cheese and garlic shrimps are my favorites. Vegan diet options are also available on their menu.
8. East Hae
98 N 6th St 3rd floor, Brooklyn, NY 11249.
Phone: (929) 239-3421.
Another fantastic rooftop bar with a Korean cultural setting is East Hae. It’s on the fourth level of 98 N. 6th Street, with a hidden entrance within Urban Outfitters.
It’s a great setting, with an open kitchen and a large number of eating tables. Unlike some other rooftop bars, East Hae does not require reservations because it is large, spacious, and can accommodate many guests.
They have a wide-open green space with a roof for rainy days, which creates a hip and fashionable atmosphere. Great Korean-inspired cocktails, cool beer, and other beverages are available in the bar.
With all of the amazing things this pub has to offer, I can promise you that their cuisine is top-notch and tasty.
The bar offers great desserts, and dishes such as chicken wings, octopus, rice, and fries were among the items on the menu that I appreciated. Thanks to their culinary expert, cooks sourced from across the world.
9. The Our Wicked lady
153 on Morgan Ave Brooklyn, NY 11237.
Our Wicked Lady is a massive and valuable rooftop bar that was originally an abandoned warehouse and was converted into a pub with a big Rooftop Terrace and bar above in 2015. It is one of the nicest rooftop bars in the city, and you will not be disappointed if you go.
It is open every day from 5 pm to 2 am. If you are a music lover or party bird, this is the place for you. Live events, rooftop dance parties, night OWL Karaoke, and other services are available in the pub.
Our wicked lady rooftop bar, especially on the rooftop, is a thrilling fun place to hang out with friends and coworkers.
It has amazing seats and a mini stage for live performances at the center. The bar serves a wide range of excellent and reasonably priced drinks, including mixed unique cocktails, frozen drinks, beers, and wines.
When you go to Our Wicked Lady, you will enjoy their amazing drinks and get a chance to enjoy their tasty and amazing food selection like chicken, fish, steak, seafood, etc.
If you are a vegetarian, don’t panic! The bar also offers various vegan food on the menu.
10. Berry Park
4 Berry St, Brooklyn, NY 11211
Phone: (718) 782-2829.
Berry Park is a large, welcoming Williamsburg pub with fantastic cocktails, delicious cuisine, and a fantastic rooftop.
The space is incredibly spacious and attractive with the bar and multiple TV screens. It’s a fun place to meet up with friends for brunch or to watch football games.
The rooftop has excellent views, including the Manhattan skyline, though it is busy, which is to be expected in great settings.
The bar offers great drinks at a reasonable price. The drinks include strong and light beer selections, wine, vodka, and beverages.
It also offers amazing and tasty foods like fries, chicken sandwiches, chicken wings, bacon, and burgers.
If you plan to have a business meeting or serious life conversations, I wouldn’t recommend this place as it has very loud music in the background, both upstairs and downstairs.
